5-10-21 THOUGHTS

We are always waiting for something aren’t we?  We wait and hope for the BETTER!
CHRIST BROUGHT BETTER!    We know the same will be true when he comes again!
Acts 3:18-23   "But the things which God announced beforehand by the mouth of all the prophets, that His Christ would suffer, He has thus fulfilled. 19  "Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord; 20  and that He may send Jesus, the Christ appointed for you, 21  whom heaven must receive until the period of restoration of all things about which God spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets from ancient time. 22  "Moses said, ‘THE LORD GOD WILL RAISE UP FOR YOU A PROPHET LIKE ME FROM YOUR BRETHREN; TO HIM YOU SHALL GIVE HEED to everything He says to you. 23  ‘And it will be that every soul that does not heed that prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the people.’
Rom 8:19    For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God.
Rom 8:22-25   For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now.  23  And not only this, but also we ourselves, having the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our body. 24  For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees? 25  But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it.
2Pet 3:11-13    Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, what sort of people ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, 12  looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be destroyed by burning, and the elements will melt with intense heat!  13  But according to His promise we are looking for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells.
Rev 21:1-5   Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea. 2  And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband. 3  And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them, 4  and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away."  5  And He who sits on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new." And He said, "Write, for these words are faithful and true."
1John 3:2     Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is.

My Prayer:
We praise your great name Father.  Glory and honor belong to you.   We thank you for exceeding great and precious promises.  Help us to long for the times you have promised.  Thank you for the hope of glory.   In the name of our precious Savior,       Amen
